Vanessa Stenhouse

I was orphaned as a baby in the Philippines and adopted by my Australian family at the age of 1 year old.  After I was adopted we then all moved back to Toowoomba, the beautiful Garden City - where I grew up.

Once graduating high school, my career path began in hospitality & management. I enjoyed the interaction with people that came with working in this industry and stayed in this field for over 6 years.

An opportunity then presented itself for me to work as the Receptionist for the Toowoomba Home Loans. Before long, my interest and yearning to learn more saw me take on the role of File Manager - which focused more on the processing to the loan and care of the clients' applications.

With progression into a good career path, the next step then for me, was training to become a Finance Consultant.

Now 6 years on as a fully accredited Finance Professional I am now doing it all and loving it!  I feel that given my journey I have a great understanding of the industry and the pressures associated with both buying a property and the process of making it happen.

Married now to my husband Luke, we have a beautiful son - 2 year old Lachlan, and are currently living in our 3^rd home.

Buying my first home at the age of 19 - I am living proof that Dreams can Come True.
